June 8, 2016 – On June 6th, 2016 Serrano Development Group and Laemmle Theatres were selected to proceed with exclusive negotiations with the City of Azusa. Currently, the project will consist of 108 residential apartments, 33,910 square feet of retail, 5 screen Laemmle Theatre, and a 296 space parking structure on Block 36 in the heart of downtown Azusa, CA. βI see a community that has come together in support of each other and in support of me,β said Greg Laemmle. βTo see the political process work to the benefit of its citizens is a wonderful thing.β We are excited to continue our partnership with the Laemmle family and even more excited to work with the City of Azusa and its community to give the people what they want.
